Wilpattu Safari Resort is a newly opened boutique nature resort located just 10 minutes from the entrance of Wilpattu National Park. We provide a peaceful, eco-luxury experience to travelers from around the world — offering authentic Sri Lankan hospitality, safari adventures, and local farm-style cuisine.
We are looking for a passionate and reliable General Cook (Chef) to join our team /assistance, assist the waitress, and room keepers as well and help us create memorable meals for our guests!
Key Responsibilities
Prepare Sri Lankan and basic continental meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Assist with planning simple à la carte and set menus
Cook for individual guests and small groups including hotel staff (up to 10–15 people)
Ensure food safety and kitchen cleanliness at all times
Assist with sourcing ingredients locally when needed.
Requirements
Experience in Sri Lankan home-style or hotel cooking
Basic knowledge of continental/Western breakfast items
Ability to work independently in a small kitchen
Willingness to live onsite ( accommodation available)
Honest, punctual, and passionate about hospitality
Well-groomed, active, and presentable personality
Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a passion for hospitality
Willingness to learn and adapt in a resort environment
Requirements
Age between 23 and 35 years (preferred)
Well-presented, energetic, and team-friendly
Experience in Sri Lankan cooking and basic continental dishes
Able to live on-site and work flexible hours
