Edys.lk is a dynamic and growing e-commerce company. We have recently launched our Shopify-based online store and are looking for a motivated Junior Shopify Developer to join our team. Job Role & Responsibilities

*Manage and maintain our Shopify-based e-commerce website.

*Implement updates, troubleshoot issues, and optimize website performance.

*Work on SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) strategies to improve online visibility.

*Assist in basic graphic design tasks (e.g., product images, banners, and simple edits).

*Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance user experience and conversion rates.

*Ensure website security, speed, and mobile responsiveness.

*Customize Shopify themes and apps as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

*Diploma or higher in IT, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or related field (skills and experience will be prioritized over formal education).

Technical Skills

*Basic to intermediate knowledge of Shopify (theme customization, Liquid templating, app integration).

*Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP/Laravel (since Shopify is built on some Laravel components).

*Familiarity with SEO & SEM (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, keyword research).

*Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools).

Soft Skills

*Strong problem-solving abilities.

*Good communication skills.

*Ability to work independently and in a team.

*Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
